Originally posted on Winners Wear Yellow: The popular Nick Beer 10k was introduced in 1993 in by the North Wales Road Runners Club. Nick Beer, who had hydrocephalus, was a popular member of the club but sadly passed away in 1991. The race, which takes place every February, was introduced in his memory.
